Alexia Fuller

Alexia is one of the 2015 Content Co-ordinators. She is an Honours student in Pacific Studies writing her thesis on Indo-Fijian​ women living in the​ diaspora in both ​Australia and Fiji​. Her research emphasises inclusive and respectful methods and seeks to link the stories of generations of Indo-Fijian women's experience of diaspora across generations and localities. In addition to Pacific Studies, she has completed majors in Japanese Studies, Spanish, and Political Science. As part of her degree, she has undertaken field study in Hawaii, China, and Japan, and ​has recently undertaken a​n internship with FemLINK Pacific​ in Suva, Fiji. In 2014, she spent the second half of the year travelling around Asia, visiting countries such as Burma, Laos, Sri Lanka, and Nepal. She is also interested in women’s empowerment, and is currently a board trainee with the YWCA of Canberra.
