Maya is one of the Special Projects Coordinators for this year's conference. 

She is in her third year of a combined double degree in International Security Studies and Languages, majoring in International Security and Arabic and minoring in Peace, Conflict and War Studies and Hindi.

Her interest in the Asia-Pacific has grown as she continues to embark on wild adventures in the region, seeks to learn more about her Indian heritage, and wants to immerse herself in such a highly diverse and fascinating area. 

You would probably find Maya napping, consuming her weight in coffee, pumping iron at the gym, or napping. She loves the summer, long walks on the beach and laughing at inappropriate memes.
