Where do you want to travel to in the Asia Pacific region?

I'd love to travel to India! I'm half Indian and would love to explore the country where half of my heritage lies and immerse myself in the culture.

How would people describe you in three words?

Assertive, loyal and indomitable.

Waht issue in the Asia Pacific region are you most passionate about/intrigued by?

Healthcare in the region fascinates me! I love learning about all aspects of health from the diseases to the policy involved in creating and maintaining healthcare systems. The Asia Pacific region is growing at an incredible pace yet there is not enough focus on healthcare. Without an adequate health system in place, communicable diseases that should be easy to treat can become uncontrollable leading to devastating effects on a population. Infectious diseases, child morbidity and morality, mental health and the diseases associated with an ageing population all cause a significant burden on families, communities, and the government. Health is a basic human right and it needs to be a bigger priority for every government to better the lives of everyone.

What are your top three favourite ways to chill out?

I find it hard to relax as I'm always thinking about tasks that I could be doing with my time. This is probably life shouting at me to relax more! I think my favourite ways to relax are playing board games or Dungeons and Dragons with my friends, going for a walk around the ANU campus (preferably in the rain!) or reading a crime novel.
