What issue in the Asia-Pacific region are you most passionate about/intrigued by?

I'm super interested in how historical trauma continues to impact Asia-Pacific countries today, and why some countries deal with historical trauma differently to others. In particular, I'm really fascinated by how Japan's invasion of China in the 1930s continues to shape their relationship today!

Where is your favourite place to go in Canberra?

As a born and bred Canberran, trying to pick a favourite place is like choosing a favourite child - but I do have a soft spot for a Sunday morning walk up Mount Ainslie to check out the incredible view over Canberra!

What is your favourite food dish/cuisine from the Asia Pacific region and why?

I cannot go past a fresh Bánh mì. I'm still on the hunt for the best one in Canberra, but 'What the Pho' at the Australian National University is a good place to start.
